I'm planning on putting one of those NooElec Software Defined Radio tuners based on the Realtek RTL2832U & R820T Tuner in my JK. A lot of the kits for this come with a generic antenna and I'd like to add something a little more permanent to the JK. I was wondering if there were any specific antennas people would recommend for this type of an application? I know a lot of sites online seem to like the Comtelco antenna. Would this be a good choice?

I had no height worries so chose to keep my VHF Antenna up front on a light mount. Easy to run wires and works well.
