Exclamation So where have you been mounting the CB's?

I just got a Midland CB and I ordered the Cool Tech Ultra Mount. I trying to figure out where a good place to mount the CB.

mounted mine on the right side of gear shift box thing

did this install last night, I found that plastic panel underneath the steering wheel, my CB fit perfectly tight in that space.

The G/F wasn't too impressed about me cutting in the panel since it's a lease !!!

Eh..tell her to chill. You can probably buy that panel for less than $20. Just replace it if you decide to turn it back in...but you wouldn't do that now, WOULD YOU?

I have this and it works perfectly, i love it, and you have enough room to mount another Ham radio, and a GPS if needed

Its really secure and doesnt rattle as well

not before the end of the lease and it would be just to get a 2011 model

my first Jeep was also a lease, returned it after 4 years, had to put it back stock, sold all the parts cause they didn't fit the '07 model. Samething will prob. happen in 4 years

Not a very good picture but I mounted mine on the side of the center console on the passenger side, there is already a both there and everything.

Thanks for the pic. It's not bad at all. I was actually thinking about there or on the driver's' side.

That is exactly what I did but I did it on the driver's side with a Cobra IV DX. Fits very nice.
