Under the hoop for protection. That's where I mounted mine, after having it over the hoop where looked too obvious and vulnerable to damage.

No they only work on 2.25"-3" round bars. With a square bar the cheapest way is to drill it and use a bolt.

Take a look at the new front grill mount from KC, it is very similar to the Strike Force Zebra mount but it is on the bottom portion of the grill which would put the bar well below the bull bar. It can also be mounted inverted and high on the grill like the Strike Force Zebra ( if you wanted it that way) I believe it will work with most 20 inch bars.
