2015 alpine sub
Anyone know where to get the 2015 stock Sub that goes in the floor? I assume it can be installed in the floor cargo space for those that didn't have the upgraded stereo from the factory. Thanks.

Assuming you don't have the factory wiring and amps, yes. You could also just do an aftermarket amp and run your own wires, but keep in mind the sub has 4 voicecoils, and it may be tricky tying in to the factory plug end on the enclosure.

Was this ever confirmed? I am going this weekend to buy a jeep. I am looking at two, one with and one without the alpine floor sub.
I am worried that if i buy the one without I cannot add the floor sub at a later date, I love the location and security it provides. I will likely be having a shop run aftermarket wiring and using a nice aftermarket amp so all I am worried about is the space being there.
Basically, if I buy the one without the alpine sub, will the space still be there, be it for an oem or aftermarket sub?
I can't seem to get this answered on the other forums.
Thanks

yeah I can see how someone would think that. I'm fairly certain every body panel is identical regardless of the model. It wouldn't be cost effective to have different designs.
