$650 for that. Method explained in this thread saves you over $500 if you have a 430 or higher head unit.

X2 I don't understand spending $650 on the AEV. It doesn't even reduce the labor. I do like the camera mount but not enough to pay that much. I spent less that $100 for the camera, harness and dealer activation.

How did you guys run the wire to the head unit? Driver side, passenger side, or down the middle? I'm going to attempt to wire mine up this weekend.

I ran everything on the passenger side. I had the interior out for spring cleaning so I could have gone on either side.

Don't push the camera in all the way until you can see the image on the screen, you will need to position it for the correct orientation.

Great video. Didn't have to remove your bumper I don't think. At least I didn't have to on my 10a. Was able to finagle my wires into that little channel back there. The wire you tapped may not be the same on other years. Can not remember what the color was for me on my 14.

How did you determine the precise orientation for the camera before you pushed it in? I recommend having the feature enable and working from the HU back unless you have a RCA enabled monitor to check the camera position. Your guide lines will be straight but the world may look a skewed...

Good quality video sharing your lessons learned along the way.
