Default Can anyone verify H16 fog light bulb on 2011's?

I'm about to order HID kits for my headlights and fogs, and I want to make sure that H16 is right for the 2011's. I'd assume so because that is what the 2010 has, but you never know. Does anyone know for sure?

Thanks!

Just checked the user guide and it does list them as the PSX24W aka H16. So I'm good to go. Thanks!

Be cautious....a lot of people have tried buying some of the h16 bulbs like these Putco ones /w w w.amazon.com/Putco-Premium-Lighting-230001SW-Spark/dp/B001L2G2XA/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1288642035&sr=8-1

and they do not fit or cause burnouts due to their higher wattage rating.

I just recently had to replace my factory fogs and housings and could not find a suitable repalcement other than stock ones.

The stock PSX24W bulb is a freak of a bulb for some reason and no one carries it. Not even listed in auto stores books. I believe it is technically a GM bulb that Chrysler decided to use in the 2010. These bulbs are about $35 a piece wholesale.

I was able to get my hands on a few of them from a friend that got them for me at cost as well as one off EBAY and 2 more from a set of factory fog housings that an awesome JK Forum member sent me. I'm rolling in bulbs now!

Well the other option, I suppose, is to replace them with an aftermarket 4" foglight, no?

This option seems popular and cheap.

Yeah but the blue lights are pretty ugly and would look even worse on my tan jeep. I think I'm going to order PIAA 510's to replace the fogs as every aftermarket bumper can use the 510's.

my guess is there would also be a lot of people with stock front bumper take-offs that might be willing to sell their 2007-2009 fogs.. then you could just change the connector on the harness to match the older style bulb...

having owned both types i find that the 2010 fogs are WIMPY...!! im going to set up HID's for my fogs only just to get some decent light from them...

Default 2010 JK Fog light

For the past couple weeks I've been having an issue with my newly installed HID's. When the high beams are turned on while the jeep is running the bulb vibrates back and forth (been told its tuninr on and off realy fast). I installed a canceller last night, it only helped a little bit, and flickers. Still doing some research on that, any thoughts on a different HID kit out there? I have the xentec slim installed right now.

As for the fog lamp, the bulb is a PSX24W, also know as a h16 or 5202. Mine is a 5202 bulb, I highly suggest taking out the bulb and looking and comparing it to what you want to get. I hope this helps.....

Thanks and keep it rubber side down
