Have the Cibies also. Bought the full harness from Dan so I can run the Ozram 100/90w. Both low and high beams are awesome and I never get flashed. Unless I have my stock foglights on, then I do. Go figure...

That's a lot of light! How's your bulb life?

I'm almost certain that the stock fogs can be aimed.

Cutoff should be about 1/4 - 1/3 lower than the low beam cutoff from 25 feet.

Hmm. Thanks I'll have to look into that. I didn't think they had an adjustment on them.
Bulb life is OK. I prolly get about a year from a set. When one goes I replace them both and just hang on to the other as a spare. Just had to order a set yesterday...lol

Thanks for the info. Interestingly enough I noticed tonight that my pass side low beam wasn't working. I suppose that is one reason the lights looked so bad. I'm surprised it burned out this quick though, 21k miles in just under a year. I'll take a closer look at my upgrading options. I won't drop the money to go LED so this is a nice alternative.

If you do I highly recommend the full harness vs adapters. You can use higher wattage w harness. Just my two cents...

HA! A dead bulb will definitely cut down on the lighting.

FWIW, lenses (and aiming) are the biggest factor. Cibies > Hella/Bosch >> IPF

Someone mentioned Daniel Stern's website. Check it out, lots of info from an expert.

I found these Cibies on Amazon, while reading reviews on Hella. Good reviews and pics. Sold directly by Amazon and appears to be the real thing. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B008DQ...le?pc_redir=T1 Great price.

Left side is Cibie 7", #082440, with Hella H4 60/55 W. Right side is stock lamp. I used a KC HiLites H13 to H4 conversion jumper, part #6307 & coated all connections with di-electric grease.
