Awesome upgrade and write up, I also had not considered a dual battery set up till I saw this as I didn't want to hack and cut my battery tray and such.
Just a suggestion to anyone do ing this mod. While that battery tray is out it is a perfect time to replace your spark plugs if needed. Makes it so easy to get the passenger side plugs. I removed my battery tray to do mine instead of fiddling through the wheel well or working blindly.

Great write up! Sigh... Now if all instructions came that way.
It looks like you are have your wires on the accessory battery (front) routed through the wrong hole and/or are missing the rubber grommet on the positive cable. It looks like you may have an extra grommet on the cranking battery that is not in use.
I would be concerned that the positive cable would rub through and arc.

It does have a grommet around it that wasn't installed in the picture. I had taken it out to see if it would fit in the bracket im making for my ARB compressor.

Dr. Dirty that was an awesome write-up! I thank you. I have been adding some accessories to my rig and was wondering what some other members were doing or how they were connecting the wires.
