Default Horizontal headlight adjustment

I bought peterson LED headlights and was not pleased with the light pattern. There seemed to be a hot spot or maybe overlap spot to the passenger side. I bought the horizontal adjustment screws to see if I can fine tune the light pattern. But I cannot find where the screws are supposed to mount. Any help? I see in the grill there is two tiny recesses. One at 1 o clock and one at 7 o clock. The 1 I clock is for vertical adjustment. But there is no open hole to add the horizontal screws

You have to remove the stud that in place where the relief is in the grill. The stud is behind the black plastic housing you'll need to remove your grill and your headlights. I did not remove my housing all the way though some folks do it that way. I just unscrewed the stud with a set of channel locks. Once it was all the way unthreaded, you can pry out the round socket head from the housing with the channel locks. Insert new new screw and snap on housing.

Great pics thank you. Do I need to remove both of those plastic screws or just the one where the screws goes?

they are actually metal screws. It will be one screw per headlight removed . It's the one that has the little notch in the grill to get a tool in there to adjust it. It will be the one closest to radiator on driver and passenger side.

Great photos, I have been looking into this for when my JW speakers come in and the few installs I read are captured perfectly in your photos.

Question, can this be done with the grill still on?
