It does have some very nice features, but can the SwitchPro system be made to look factory, or is it a generic device for all vehicle models? My sPOD looks factory, right down to laser-etched switch labels that are backlit and controlled with the dash light dimmer. In reality, I hope competition continues to goad both companies to improve their products. We are the beneficiaries.

Most likely he has the OTRATTW switches, you can choose different top and bottom light color and which one is independently lit. You splice into the Orange wire with gray stripe that should be behind the dash (not exactly sure where yet, I am in the process of doing this myself) and run that power for your independent circuit.

I agree that the Spod has Bluetooth capability, but the Switch-pro unit comes integrated within the unit and doesn't need to be purchased separately.

I agree, if the switchpro had as much curb appeal as the sPOD I'd be sold. The switch pad just looks odd and there isn't any perfect place to mount it that I've seen.

You nailed it. It's all about the aesthetics. Form and function!

I hard wired my ARB fridge strait to the battery. When it's in the jeep, it's plugged in with constant power. No need for a switch to turn on and off.
