The RBZ is the non nav touch screen, so I don't know how much people are paying with nav. I know I have seen nav mygig radios advertised for under $800, but I have never checked into them.

I just installed one in my 2011 Mojave. The part number was 5064879AG. Not sure what would make it any different from anyone else's but the screen logo did update on its own from the Chrysler logo. I couldn't pass up the upgrade for $150 for a one week old takeout on Craigslist. I do know it came from a 2011 town and country.

Thanks. So you are on the newer version. Do you have the rewind feature and the favorite song/artist feature with that version of software? I think only the newer versions auto update the vehicle logo. Mine was on 8.05 when I got it, which I think is the newest publicly available version (via update disk).

It does have the rewind feature(replay). It also appears to have the game alerts feature for sports which is seen as part of the travel link in other models. Not sure if it works or not. Don't know if this will help you or not but the first time I plugged it in, it had the Chrysler logo. I then had to pull it out because I discovered I had lost a dash clip behind the radio. When I reconnected it the second time is when it switched over to the jeep logo. After reading some threads before putting it in I was expecting to just have to deal with the Chrysler logo but was happy when it updated.
Almost forgot. It has the Fav Song/Artist too.

This is good info. While any of the high speed RBZ radios will work in the JKU, it appears that the 2011 and 2012 RBZ radios come with the latest version of the software. As far as I know, there is no update available to the public that will allow you to update the 8.x version and older to the latest software. For some people, this may not matter, but for others, they may want to look for a radio with a later build code. From what I have seen, the newer version adds the following features:
Hopefully someone reading this thread later will find this info useful.
- replay - rewind the current station up to 45 minutes (constantly moving buffer)
- Favorite artist/song - pushing this button will mark your favorites. You will then be notified if this song or artist is playing on another station.
- Sports team favorites. I believe you can receive notifications of scores, team news, etc. You can set your favorite team for each major league sport plus college.
- Will auto update the logo so you don't have to ask the dealer to update it for you.
Hopefully someone reading this thread later will find this info useful.
