Has anyone ever tried to put the 8.4 touchscreen into a wrangler? Thoughts on if it would even be worth doing it.

The 8.4 is a nice setup--have one in the Grand Cherokee--but I can't see how it would fit in a JK. I swapped out my 730 for a Kenwood DNS896s and am really enjoying it so far. I have the "stock" upgraded Alpine system, and it sounds great. I love CarPlay, too.

i assume it "could" be done, but in the long run it might be cheaper to install one of these
