Default Jeep wont turn off!!! Please help!!!

I left the doors off during yesterday's rain storm and the jeep took on a few inches of water, pretty much to the door sills. I dry vaced the water out and pulled the plugs then let it sit all day to dry out. Earlier this evening I started it up then when I went to turn it off I was surprised to find my key in my hand with the jeep still running!!! Disconnect the battery and that did nothing, pulled the main fuse and that is the only thing will turn it off. Also the jeep almost over heated as the fans failed to come on as well! Anybody out there that can help with this problem?

I know this doesn't help but that sounds like it's not from leaving the doors off in the rain....

I pressure wash the inside of my jeep all the time, and it is in the weather no top or doors 9 months out of the year, so while anything is a possibility I'd doubt it. The module under the seat is a wiring harness if I remember right, so open it up and spray it out with some electroflush and try it again. I just can't imagine there is anything running through there that would cause that issue, but like I said anything is possible. Subscribed to see what it turns out to be

Sorry just to recap here, you turned your jeep off, had the key in your hand, disconnected the battery and its still running?!?! Yikes!
Some serious sorcery happening there...

I've had my jeep soaked from down pours that filled my cup holders and haven't experienced any poltergeist shit like that.

Had a similar issue. Was a bad fuse in the tipm that controlled the ecm. Check the 10 fuses close to center. .
