There is NOTHING to activate. If the Jeep wasn't shipped with premium sound, there is no amplifier, there is no wiring harness for the amplifier. There is NO WAY to add a Jeep premium sound amplifier, they do not sell the wiring harness through the dealer or anywhere else.
You have to go aftermarket to add an amplifier, some sort of device to tap into the existing wiring and may have to run a new set of speaker wires back to the sub even though there are wires there. If you are lucky you may be able to trace the wiring you tapped into somewhere along the passenger side door sill and into the dash somewhere.
