Thanks for offering, but it's already planned out, with local drivers in SoCal
I am also looking into flash/blink patterns for emergency vehicles, so we'll see where it goes.

that was my point actually...stuff like that only keeps honest people at bay....a thief is a thief. they will get it no matter what.

I build cop cars and it won't be hard you'll just have to custom fab brackets to hold it tight and you'll want a shield around it to prevent glare back

@GoRemote what is the latest as this thread has not made any progress in quite some time. I would like to know if this ever manifested into an actual mod for my JKU.

Updated? I'm also local to SoCal and have not seen any interior mounted lighting. But I'm also 90% I wouldn't notice one coming the other way unless I was looking for them, which I haven't been until coming across this thread today.

My guess is it would mount to the same holes as the GraBars would. Using OEM insert locations and no other mods required would be a MASSIVE selling point.

My neighbor works for Rigid and he has a custom interior mount for his f350. I can attest that there is very little to no glare back the way he has his. It's a cool idea. That will be my next lighting upgrade, once my current exterior 50" takes a dump.

How much heat do the bars make when used for prolonged periods? Seems like it might get pretty warm without the outside air moving over the fins. Just a thought.
