LED tail lights on a JK...anyone?
Looking to see if there's a quality, recessed LED tail light upgrade for the JK tail light box assembly...you know, those circular ones? Did a forum search but not getting the right results - maybe it's me not doing something right.

Those look awesome - is it the whole rear quarter guard and tail light or can you just get the tail light?
I saw these at www.northridge4x4.com for like $190
Single piece unit encompasses Stop/Tail/Turn function as well as Reverse Indicator and a Side Marker Light.
Each housing has 63 LED's; 48 red, 12 white, and 3 red side markers.
But it doesn't say it'll fit the JK.

Both of those are the same product I believe and yes they are not recessed and they are made for TJs and I guess YJs. I believe the opening for the JK tail lights are larger than the TJ? I haven't had the need to remove my JK lights yet, but I think I've seen pictures. I'm not sure if a standard 4" round LED recessed light would fill the stock hole on the JK? I will be checking that out myself next week.

Yeah...I've found these lights on a few sites and they are not for the JKs. But they are not the same kidjeep because the picture of the LiteDOT turned off are smoked black.

Those are really cool lights, but as mentioned above, I'm sure they're too small to cover the opening in our JK's. They do look good with the corner guards above though.

I went wheeling with a gal that has those on her Jeep...great at night but very hard to see during the day. I'd like to have some shaped like the stock lights...replacement LED bulbs??
