Default led tail lights, something different

I have always liked the look of the round trailer style tail lights that most people use on jeeps with rear armor, but i have no interest or funds for armor at the moment so i have been thinking about doing some thing similar myself but never could come up with a good way to do it and not look bad, then i found these http://www.rockridge4wd.com/ROCKRIDG...-p/rr-5002.htm, i like most of this idea, but im not too fond of the little led reverse light. so now the search is on for some different parts to use, i havent decided what tail lights i am using or what reverse lights but i am open to ideas if anyone has any. pics are coming as i gather parts.

Check out the oro dot lights. Look better and the shroud they are in goes right into the factory designed spot

doesn't look like they go in the factory spot at all, maybe on the older jeeps but these are supposed to work with aftermarket armor which I have no use for at the moment

I have that exact kit and believe me that little LEd puts out more than enough light. Find a reputable shop to install them, unless you are really comfortable cutting your own sheet metal.

What size are those lights? I like that look better than the ones I linked. I just think the little lights look out of place next to the big ass 4" one. Oh and what did you have to cut to make yours? Just the raised corners where the original screws go?

the reverse lights are 2.5". I found them on ebay. You'll have some cutting to make the new lights fit. I just used a grinder on the raised corners until they were flush. Just use a washer behind the hole when you go to mount the lights on those two locations. You should be able to use the light plate to mark holes for the other bolt locations. The dimensions of the plates are 6"x10".

Here's a shot of the plates after hole sawing and painting. For some reason the app freezes my phone when I try to upload more than one pic on a post.
