I did the 'upgraded' bulbs about a month after getting my JK...lol...couldn't really tell a difference at all...I got old eyes :-) ... Did some research and went with the KC LED Headlights...
Comes with the antiflicker harness and have a 23yr warranty! Huge difference! I kinda like the way the lowbeams only light half the bulb!
I also swapped the stock foglight bulbs with some led bulbs off amazon...

Going with a regular halogen setup is the cheapest. You can get a set of Hella's for ~$100 at Napa. A very good light and a significant upgrade over the stock setup. The only downside to them is that it's a glass housing - I went through 3 sets of them before going to LED. Hot glass lens and cold muddy water do not mix (kept on cracking when wheeling).
The Trucklite's are great headlights - and while still expensive, are a lot cheaper then the rest of the LED options out there. I like them and find them decent - however they've left me wanting a little more. So at some point I'll go with the new JW Speakers. But the TLs are easily good enough that I'm not in a rush to make the expensive change.

Inspired Engineering is a forum supporter. $350 or so with anti flicker harness. Easy cheesy 10 minute install. Bright as hec and never been flashed by oncoming traffic.

Sorry to disappoint but you way overpaid. These lights are selling for $200 or less. I got mine from Justice Off-road and it's the same headlight.
