AWESOME job!

I technically just done my third retrofit recently. What's better than one set of Morimoto'? TWO of them! I re-done my headlamps since I had a slight learning curve on the first set from a couple years ago. The mini H1's I removed my first go was a little too crappy to sell, but to nice to throw away, so I ended up retrofitting them into the fog lamps. It is certainly tight in there, but they do fit, quite nicely I must add.

Now I essentially have four sets of lows or highs, the light output is phenominal! The solenoids in the fogs are tied in with the headlamps, so they'll stay on with the highs, I had to put them on an independent switch. A PVC 3" to 1.5" reducer works perfectly.

I used the JB Weld putty on all the retrofits so far with no ill effects.

Here's a completed fog.

... Great write up. I have alot of experience with these retrofits, and just decided on the same brand myself. The fact that I got them on the phone made the diffrence... Much different than using ALIBABBA to do custom hacks for 3kGT's. Great warranty too.

I will post mine when i finish them, doing the ROBO-MOD.

Yeah- oven at 400 for 8-15 minutes. It will be fine. Place them on a rag though, then use a screwdriver or putty knife to break the seal. Dont worry- they are TOUGH.

Home Depot. But I'm sure any hardware store or plumbing supply would have them.
