Well I went ahead and bought some off brand CREE LED headlights off eBay. I must say, these things are super bright! They were purchased on a Tuesday and received on a Saturday. I will say this tho.. The instructions for wiring them were TERRIBLE. They are extremely vague and for someone who doesn't speak "wiring" they won't be able to just plug and play these. In the product description the seller has a photo of the "instructions" on how to wire them. It seems simple. But what I actually received was quite a bit different. In the instructions they provide on eBay it shows one ballast. I recorded two.. With different wiring on each. And the colors they say to use on certain areas are all backwards. Literally. Example would be the navy wire is supposed to go to the accessory fuse and the brown is the ground... They're actually backwards and if you don't know that you'll be scratching your head for quite some time trying to wire them up correctly. But once you figure out how to properly wire them you then have to shave a little plastic off the connector that goes to the OEM headlight connector so that it'll fit snug inside for a solid connection. Despite the few things I mentioned these headlights are sick. Especially for the money. Click image for larger version

What sort of pattern do they throw? The picture said 80w (x2) LEDs.

That's a ton of power for LED headlights. I'd be concerned about temporarily blinding other drivers if they really use that sort of power (there are 50" LED light bars using just 100w).

They do look really cool.

it looked to be a pretty nice spread pattern. And you're right they're bright, really bright. I'll attach a pic of the spread inside my garage.

Those do look nice and you can't beat the price. It shows a turn signal halo how does that look? Bright enough during the day? Is it pretty noticeable at night with the headlights on?

I haven't wired the turn signal in just yet (need to pick up a soldering gun) but the halos themselves are very noticeable

So I just tried to tap into the turn signal... Everything worked fine until I got it out back together.. Put the left turn signal on and both Amber LED's would flash as if I had the hazards on. Any ideas on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated.
