New System Install in JKU
Just finished up the install in my 2013 JKU...I feel 16 again!
Massive N3(1,400 RMS/2,800Max)
12" Orion XTRPro in Atrend Vented Box
New in 2014, this thing is a beast.
Pioneer AVIC-5000NEX
Massive Tweeters in Stock Location
Thanks Jeep for leaving a hole!
Also installed Memphis 6.5's in dash and sound bar.

carplay?
pioneer NEX5000.... do you have an iphone? if so are you using the new carplay feature? if so How is it? been thinking of going this route. Do all your steering wheel controls still work just fine? did you go with bigger tweets?
Sorry for all the questions. looks like a clean installa nd just about to do mine.

Thanks for the compliments guys. I like the Pioneer and did get an iPhone 5 so I could run the Carplay but haven't bought the adapter cord yet. Honestly, the regular interface is okay. I did retain the steering wheel controls via a Maestro unit. It is crazy how much junk hangs off the back of the head unit. You have to factor in that there is an additional ~$100 in adapters required.
The tweets are 1" units which were slightly larger than the stock housings. I used a round file to remove the nubs and that was all that was needed.(you'll understand once you get your stock ones out).
I mounted the GPS antena just above the radio near the windshield. There was a perfect spot there between the defrost vents.
