Found what was rattling in my A pillar in the drivers side. In the process of fixing it atm. I was never able to tighted this bolt:
So I knew the nut was the culprit....

This is what I found after folding down my windshield:
Passenger side: (no rattles btw)

vs drivers side:

The little bracket that holds the square nut was not holding it tight enough and would let the square nut rotate when trying to tighten down the bolt.

Now I have to wait till tomorrow to buy a replacement square nut as the original one got rounded off. Will update tomorrow. Might stuff a little bit of foam in there with the square nut to help hold it in place better. Well see...

Use bondo or JB weld instead of the foam. Prolly get better results.

I don't think that would work I think it's meant to have some slack so that it can line up with the top plate.

Got the rattle fixed! Had to buy SAE 5/16 square nut + 5/16 bolt to go with it. No one carries a metric square bolt in town. Bolted everything back up, jumped on the highway and not a single rattle to be heard.

I'm selling mine!!

Just hot back from Moab after being there a week, light did great with no issues. But I just don't need it like I thought. I'm running HIDs, LED light bar on bumper and LEDs at lower windshield.

I drilled and tapped the holes bigger, it's been in a couple down pours on the trip, no moisture.
but other than that... It's been garaged.

Also the HMF brackets WITH NO HOLES, will be included. This is a 50" bar and the brackets are close to the windshield. They also have the lower tabs and have been plasti-dipped
THE LOWER LIGHTS ARE NOT INCLUDED.

I can do $350 shipped. Or $300 if you live close to STL... I'm open to offers also

Default Light Bar and 50" PSC Mounts

Thanks for all of the great info here guys. I just received my PSC Mounts (currently being Line-X'd) and my 50" light bar for $120 off ebay . My wife bought me the 4" cube LEDs for Christmas. Anyway, I will upload pics once this beast gets installed, but since I am currently waiting on the brackets to get back I decided to attempt the "black-out" the lights.

What do ya think??

Your blackout job looks great! Just be sure you sealed everything back up well!

Default Stopped working

Arrrgh! My 52" Led bar just stopped working. It started flickering yesterday when driving on rough winter roads and today it didn't emit any light. I've disconnected all the wiring and juiced it straight from the battery, and it's still dead. The connections to the relay seems to have been hot as the heat shrink is a little melted, altough the fuse is still fine.

Does anyone have any idea what to look for to fix it?

Thanks!

Honestly, if it's one of the cheap ebay lights, there is your answer. There is a reason those products are so cheap. A quality led light should last a long time if installed properly, and the reputable brands will have a warranty to cover issues like this.
