Nexus 7 install....Lets Do This!!
Ok, so Im going to go down the path of installing a Nexus 7 (2012) to replace the factor radio (non-nav) into my 2010 JKU. I decided on the 2012 due to the GPS issues I have seen on the interwebs, as well as a price point of 150 bux for 32gb, 3/4g and wifi. Was searching for indash nav, and came across several builds for nexus 7's....for half the price, and more functionality. I will try and take pictures along the way.
Current Build list of parts:
Nexus 7 (2012)
PDX-5 amp
Bluetooth adaptor for OBDII
4 port USB hub
OTG cable
Clarion EQ for tactile volume control (1/2 din)
Still shopping for a DAC, but as the wife calls it, I have analysis paralysis.
Any input or tips are much appreciated.

You may have come across my video already, which is more encouragement to do it than a step-by-step how to ...

And for those of you using an Android phone, the phone makes a great backup to the Nexus 7--especially for topo navigation when you might be out in some remote area.

Hi Mark, I absolutely did come across your build, which is very nice. Im looking to basically have only one screen, no ram mount, as its a daily driver, so need to allow for passenger use as well. I have seen Corvetts to ford focus installs, and they are all very similar, I just need the tablet to show up so I can see if I need the metra dash kit or if I will need to figure out something custom. I will be looking over your build list for ideas thou, appreciated!
