am thinking of trading 2013 rubicon for same thing but a 2016. I see no 730n radio. whats up?

No idea. I had the same issue. And I truly hate the 430. Good luck.

There was no option for the 730 when I ordered my 2016. Dealer had no info on why it's not offered anymore.

Buy a 730n off eBay for $800 and swap it in. It's pretty easy.
