On my factory battery the terminal is on the right, next to the firewall. I'm hearing now, not to get the Optima because they are made in Mexico. To get the Diehard instead.

battery
Installed a yellow top in March of 2009 in to my 2009 Tahoe... because the OEM battery (2 of them actually) couldn't power the radio while I washed/dried the truck, then start it to move it into the garage.
Not only was the yellow top able to power my head-unit long enough to wash/dry/vacuum the truck... 90,000 miles and 5 years later... it's STILL powering the truck.
Mean time, my wife's car has gone through THREE 'normal' batteries from Advance Auto.
total cost was about the same, but I've never been left w/a dead battery. She has.
