Just installed a pair of piaa 530 fogs. Since I had no stock wiring, I picked up a returned kit off Amazon's Warehouse, along with the PIAA brackets. Saved about $45 off the VSK.
I'm so happy with the results I'm gonna have to start saving to replace the now yellowish lookin' headlights.
Here's the stock low beams.

Fogs, aimed down:

Combined:

Solid product!

anyone know the difference between these fog lights from PIAA
PIAA | LP 530 Fog LED Light Kit #73530
PIAA | LP 530 High Intensity LED Fog Light Kit #5370
they are both the same fog pattern but the pair labeled High Intensity are actually cheaper

I know this is an older thread, but I have a question....I am thinking of buying a set of the piaa lp530's and I recall reading somewhere on this forum that someone wired them simply by cutting off the factory harness and crimping on bullet connectors...is this indeed possible? Thanks in advance.

I've got a pair of piaa's I'd sell. Would want to trade brackets as I need new ones. Wires have been cut and have a spade connector on them (I could send matching other half of spade). Make me an offer; they're in perfect shape. I'm upgrading to jw speakers. Thanks.

Well, I'm getting lazy, and don't have time to research this on the forums. So, I have Rigid's on my a pillars (D2s) and on my bumper (20" E series), so I figured I'd match those and maybe be the first guy to write up the new D2 DOT approveds. I've seen the JW fogs and know they are great. I also know D2s are great. So, no empirical data, so I thought I'd try these. And then you guys know. Because I think my Trucklite low beams are not great. And I think it's great that Trucklite bought Rigid Industries; two powerhouses in lighting. There are going to be a bunch of great things that come out of that purchase (which is hard to imagine, considering that both companies have already set the bar. My guess is that a new street legal replacement headlight for the wrangler is on the near horizon, one that FINALLY squelches all of our concerns with the current products).
