Just keep in mind that this units maps only works if you have cell service. If you get out on the trails off-road and don't have cell service, the navigation is useless. The 5000 has the built in navigating, I think.

I have my garmin for that MY main reason for getitng the 4000nex was the removable faceplate

with google maps you can save areas on the maps so you can use them when you have zero cell service. you almost always have gps signal.

Hey guys, I'm installing this setup this week. Anyone who has done it, it looks like the wiring harness wants me to tap into the obdii port and cut two of the wires going in. This seems a bit wierd. Anyone done this, and is it the best way to go?
