PLEASE HELP! UCONNECT and dash resetting/flickering. Dealership cannot figure it out
I could really use some help at this point. I have had an ongoing issue with the electronics on my Jeep since about June. I had the Uconnect system replaced under warranty because the navigation would randomly freeze (apparently this was a known issue). Now, the Uconnect system, heating/HVAC will randomly reset about every 10 seconds while driving. Occasionally after this happens, the dash lights will flicker for a few seconds. (Please see the attached videos) I have taken the Jeep to the dealership now 6 times, and they just decided to order a brand new Connect system, however I do not think this is related simple to the Connect since the dash lights are also lighting up. Twice, the attributed the issue to my after marker lights and winch, however they could not find any issue with that wiring. I am at my wits end, and very close to having to file a lemon law claim since no one can seem to figure out what the issue is. Please, please, help!

A quick thing to check
Loose battery connections can cause symptoms like this. Someone may have put an auxiliary power wire under the clamping nut on your battery cables. It happened to me after some service work. It did not feel loose just jiggling it by hand but could vibrate while driving and cause power disruption. The link below has excellent info on this. Worth a quick check. Good luck

It looks like it happens enough that you could hook a meter to the main buss (fuss box, something, I work on planes and don't know what they call them in cars now) or along the circuit and see if power is dropping when his happens. Like someone else said, could be dropping the gnd so you could check hat as well. Even worse than this problem would be if it happened once every 2 months. At least with this you could do some checking on your own. Right before you told the dealer to keep this one and find it's replacement.
