They should take care of you. They are supposed to be water proof

the only water the jeep has even been thru is a car wash so it really shouldn't have happened. I am going to take this opportunity to pull the housings back apart and take the halos off and change the color up inside, think I am going to go from satin black to a dark charcoal grey or something like that

Mine are black housing with a dark charcoal shroud. Looks really good I think.

You can use oven cleaner to de chrome the shrouds. Just paint them with rust oleum paint or whatever you choose and let them dry really good. When you heat the housings up to reseal them the paint with cure. I pulled mine back apart and dropped one of my shrouds on accident. It didn't scuff or anything. I may have gotten lucky, but I was impressed

When I originally did mine I just scuffed the chrome off with a scotch Brite pad

well I got the MC from them last Monday but didn't have time to mess with it until yesterday, got everything put back together including fixing the halo that fell off, I forgot that I had notched the shroud for the halos so I just put them back on and will get new shrouds and replace them sometime soon. I went ahead and ordered a kit to put hids in my factory fog lights, I currently have rigid duallys in the fog lights but don't like the look or output from them since they are spot beams.
