Default ScanGauge II Installed - Pics

Got it this morning and she installed nice and cleanly above the CB! The lead was inch perfect to allow it to thread behind the panelling and down to the OBDII. Literally an inch shorter and it would not have worked.. Anyways, she fired up first time and altho I've not calibrated yet, seems to be working fine:

This is in a 2.8 CRD and all seems to be working fine so far.

Nice location. I have one from my previous vehicle. Looks like I'll have to add it to my list if things to do this weekend.

Cheers guys! Does work well and when I've finished cleaning up that bit of velcros sticking out it looks pretty stock with the cables disappearing nicely behind it.

Tell ya what, this thing paid for itself today. Darn engine keeps throwing me a P0087 code which causes her to go into limp mode. Being able to read the code instantly and clear on the move was very handy indeed.

This is one of the reasons why I bought the ScanGauge!

P0087 possible causes:
- Faulty fuel pump
- Blocked fuel filter
- Faulty fuel pressure solenoid
- Faulty Fuel injector

Yup, thanks for this. Mine is a 2.8 CRD so there are a few more things that can be added to that list, too.

This is where I mounted mine, using 3M velcro from an EZ-Pass transponder (used for our toll road system). I lock it in the Tuffy drawer when it needs to be secured.

Sorry to resurrect this thread, but here's where I've installed mine. Used the Daystar lower dash panel that was collecting dust.
