Default Stereo volume changes with speed

I've got my Trektop NX back on and for the first time I've noticed, while slowing to a stop, the stereo volume reduces. When accelerating again, it increases to where I had it set. This only occurs when the volume is LOUD. When I have the volume at a moderate level, it does not do this.
I've read many posts about the volume being lower in general when the hard top is removed, but not of the auto adjusting it does. Kind of a cool feature as I would normally be turning it down at a stop light, etc.
I never noticed this last year, and it does not do this with the hard top on.

I know my buddies Chevy Malibu does this I guess it's a feature. That's pretty cool if it is a feature on the jks.

You may be able to turn that function off. My Silverado had that.

What system do you have? The '15 Alpine system uses a DSP to change the sound when the hardtop is removed,.
