UConnect Radio turns off unexpectedly...
My radio will randomly reset...like this...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?x-yt-cl=84411374&v=Z7S7vBf9LUc&x-yt-ts=1421828030&feature=player_detailpage anyone else had this issue??? The vehicle was running the entire length of that video. When I shut the car off it sounds like there is a cooling fan running behind the radio. This is on a 2015 JKU Rubicon.

It got to the point today that it just shut off and did not reset. I was near a Jeep dealership, so I pulled in to make sure they could view the problem while it was happening. The vehicle showed no trouble codes...but they said they would order me a new radio

Video of my problem
Might be thread-jacking but here's a video of what mine's doing. Not sure if it matches what the OP was seeing.

That is similar to what mine was doing, except mine was the touchscreen unit...so it would take 15-20 seconds to boot up, then shut off again. The dealership did replace my stereo, no problems since then!!!

I wonder if the forum has a thread on best radio replacements and how to do it.
