Default Wiring a lightbar with factory fog wires

I have a 12" led light bar that should be here Monday and I'm wanting to use the wires for the factory fog lamps to turn it on. What kind of relay do I need and which light should I use to trigger the relay? Pics would be great because I'm pretty dumb when it comes to wiring. Thanks!!!

I wired my 10" straight to the fogs without any need for relays since it draws less power.

When you say "wire to fogs" are you wanting to keep the fogs also, or unhook them and run the bar only?

Use the bar only. I got a new bumper and don't have fogs anymore

Then you should be able to hook in to existing wiring. I plugged in aftermarket LEDs to my fogs and haven't had issues yet.

Same here, I installed rigid duallys as my fog lights and wired them using the existing fog light wiring and have had zero issues with flickering

Wired my D2's the fog switch. We do get a flicker but that is only when a door or tailgate is left open. They will also flash once or twice after turning off the jeep as well. No biggie to us.

ohm's law - watts / volts = amps so 50 / 12 = 4.16amps so a 5 or 7 amp will work .
