If you're looking for the engine swap route, Bruiser Conversions in Clearwater, FL is the way to go. They do Diesel, Hemi, and LS swaps on JK's and make all the factory features work with their conversions. They have a 5.3 LS Chevy V8 swap with somewhere around 325 hp for around $16k.
