Default 35" Mallcrawler to 38" Realcrawler Stone White Build

Well, as much as i hate to admit it, my 2010 White 2DR Rubi has been more of a mallcrawler/DD than it has actual offroad jeep. I've got about 31K miles in 24 months---except i was deployed for 10 months of that!!

BUT, the need for new tires before it snows and bein a lil more financially comfortable has finally pushed me into turning this Rubi into what i bought it for---a legit, capable offroad toy!

Here she is the night i picked her up at the dealer...had a 4" Rough Country lift, JKS adj trackbars F/R, Currie Rock front lower/Rear upper adj CAs, and 35" Geolandars on procomp wheels:

Lil Flexin:

And after adding an Olympic 4x4 Boa front, KC windshield lights, JKS quicker disconnects, and bushwacker flats:

So at this point i've been happy with the way it LOOKS, but not so much with the way it performs. I'll be updating this over the next few weeks as i cut, replace, and mod to make room for my new 38" Geolandars currently sitting in the garage!!

Started with the shocks tonight. Swapped out the crappy Rough Country shocks for a new set of Bilstein 5100s---what a difference!!!

I knew the rough country shocks were crappy...but when i compressed them, they never re-extended!!! lol

Will update soon with exo C-gusset install, pinch seam and body mods, new rear bumper, installin the new tires, and begin the process of getting the right bumpstops, and so on and so on...

I have those same RC shocks. With the crummy rubber piece on the shaft side. They ride so rough. I hate them. Now I have the same bilstein 5100's. Can't wait to install them.
I'm subscribing to see how your rig turns out.
Cheers

If they're radials, there will be an R in the size, like your 35's: 35x12.50R16

And I was always under the impression the R stood for "rim" or wheel diameter...

R stands for radial, the number after the R is the rims size.

Lookin' good! glad to hear the bilsteins are much better. What's your impression on the bushwacker flats?

Can't wait to see the 38's on the 2 door.
