Just confirmed with Jim Cox at the HigherGround Fab shop that they will have an outside booth/display at the Off-road Expo in Pomona on Oct. 4th and 5th. They are going to have Beast in the booth along with a sick TJ build they recently finished. Always a good time at this show, just make sure to leave your wallet at home!

Hey Edgar, I will try and get by there on Saturday to say hey.

Relocated the coilovers remote reservoirs to get them out of the engine compartment. Jim says they look like missile launchers...

I can't tell you how much I love those coil overs coming out of the hood.

You know, when I started this build, that was the only initial direction I gave the builder, Jim Cox at HigherGround Fab...I said, "I want shocks so stupid big that you have to cut holes in the hood."

The HGFab crew started work today on the rear fender storage boxes - these will be very useful for Beast's chasing/recovery duties. As they will be cutting out what's left of the rear quarter panels, they need to reinforce the body in front and behind the boxes:

This is what the rear fender storage boxes will look like. They are 24" wide x 14" high x 12" deep. The doors will open out and down and serve as platforms for whatever (work table, etc.). HGFab will be mounting the Premier Power Welder and air hose connections inside the rear passenger side box.
