As the guy who ends up recovering this jeep frequently, I can tell you it smoked my 12k LBS winch and I HAVE to have gravity in my favor to move it when it gets stuck. But that's not a exactly a precise weight.

By "Frequently" I mean, my jeep just happens to be the one around when Beast actually does get stuck.

For those reading, the stuck times you can count on one hand.

Just giving you a hard time Scott. Other than maybe Jim Cox, there is no-one I'd rather have on the trail when the going gets really tough!

This thing is amazing, but can no longer be considered a JK any more! Maybe a ZK (Zombie Killer)?

Thanks...I'm pretty sure we are done with adding the "optional" stuff. I can't think of anything else I'd really want out on the trail anyway.

Not yet. I've been a little reluctant to weigh it...But, there is a truck stop just up the road with a scale, so I'm sure it will get weighed pretty soon.
