Cheap... er, inexpensive doors off side mirrors.
Stopped by a Pep-Boys yesterday and grabbed a blind spot mirror (flat), woulda bought two but they only had one.
I mounted it to see what it needed.
It shook in the breeze and I wanted a more permanent mount process.
I welded a piece of 1/4" key stock after bending it to get a little tighter to the body.
I also used a 5/16" carriage bolt welded to the bracket so I'd never loose the bolt and eventually (when I get to the hardware store) I can use a stainless wingnut and not need a wrench to back it up.
After a couple coats of Plasti-Dip I have a solid easy to mount mirror.
Gotta make one for the other side.
