For me it's portability, speed, and efficiency. That 10# tank is equal to 400 gallons of compressed air. Not many on board air systems will run power tools either.

That bumper looks legit!

Default Rear bumper GONE!

done, gone, outta here!

now, gotta find some dense packing foam or something to fill the ends. Also I wouldn't mind flipping the hook to the top side of the frame. Extra clearance and easier to access if ever in deep.

Rock Krawler adjustable front lower control arms should be arriving on tuesday....had make the purchase. steering dynamics were changed after the lift and caused a "flighty" symptom when traveling at high speeds. So, FLCA's were a must in order to get it back to normal/improved handling. I will eventually be getting all control arms upgraded in time. But these needed to happen for safety/handling/comfort purposes.

EDIT: went back through and re-torqued all suspension components, boy were some of those loose....could spin the lower rear shock bolts by hand. that explained the light clunk noise from any bump in the road. LCA's should arrive today. hopefully have my handling back to spec this evening.

Default FLCA's

they have arrived...just trying to find time for installation...

Any one have tips on setting them to the correct length? I am looking to bring back the stock handling. NOTE: I have a teraflex 2.5" coil lift.

As far as moving the tow hook above the bumper; you might be able to flip it to the passenger side of the jeep. I'm guessing they use brackets with nut tacked to them inside the frame rail that you could move over and just drill three new holes. Just guessing though, I've not removed my rear bumper yet.

yes, it is just a bracket with tac-welded nuts. nothing too much, just need to get the proper size drill bit for the new holes.

RK has some recommended dimensions in their instructions online. I am about to lengthen my RK FLCAs (relative to the uppers, maybe 2 or 3 turns) due to the "flightiness". I originally set mine per the specs in the instructions. Pinion angles are superb right now, but my ride/rear flex is taking a hit. Not to mention my rear track and PS spring are contacting on hard bumps. I have a 2010 2DR Rubi.

At the same time I'm going to push out the front assembly 1/2" and bring the rear axle in about 1/2".

Hope this helps, I can find the link or send you the pdf if needed.

Default FLCA's installed!

Finally, they are on. took maybe 30 minutes. Haven't taken it on the highway yet due to Houston traffic....but around town it already feels better. Highway test will be tomorrow when I roll to home depot to grab some steel for custom windshield light brackets...

final caster angle is around 7. I know stock is 4.3 but I want to see how this handles. I threw it into 4wd as advised by others to make sure nothing click'd or clank'd in regards to the front drive shaft, all is quiet and smooth.

I wouldn't keep it at 7. Should definitely adjust it. It's too easy to get it where it should be at 2.5" of lift and adjustable arms

AH !! you called me out on it! no one was supposed to call me out that quick.....when I finished up the install I half way felt that 7 was too much but it felt fine on the test drive.......to sum it up, your simple efforts of a comment convinced that I really should adjust them, so I adjusted them and got to a solid +5 degree (from what I can tell on my dial). (And yes, its stupid easy to change it, I was just lazy the first go-around.)

I'm happy with that.
