Now for updates. Got rid of that floppy Tera flex jack mount in favor of my own design and built mount.

Default YJ Update

I am starting a new suspension project on the YJ. front 1.5" stretch and shackle reversal. OF course designing and cutting my own parts. THe front bumper and shackle reversal will be integrated with each other. The Bumper portion will have a couple of the same tow hooks I used on the JK bumper with the strap hooks built into the d ring mounts. Hopefully cutting my main parts for it today.

In the rear 'm doing a 6" stretch using custom alcan XJ length and dimension springs. They are practically brand new off my dads TJ and recently went to full triangulated 4 link and coilovers so I get some hand me down parts for the YJ. Should put it around 102-103" wb lower the ride height just a little.

The jk is going to be needing stiffer springs and possibly air bumps. At this point I'm down to 2.75" of up travel in back with normal daily load. Jack, air tank, spare tire and nothing in back. It's just too squishy. I'm starting looking into new spring options and what not.

The YJ on the other hand is moving along. I dove further into the front suspension today.

This is the test version. About 6-7 minor changes and I'll cut the final parts.

Tested my new rock lights on the fog light circuit. I think they'll work just fine once mounted and wired.

So I haven't done anything to my jeep in a while but go out hunting and using it. Got me this a while back coming back from the ranch. From a semi mud flap going the opposite way.
