Started cleaning up the 60 and 14 bolt. Front is done but the back still needs a lot of grinding and one more leaf purch cut off. My order from TMR also showed up yesterday.

Maybe im having a blonde moment but is that front passenger side drop?

Got some work done today. Finished grinding the 14 bolt smooth and then i sand blasted the chunk with my at home pos sand blaster. Then burned the truss on.

What travel did you settle on?
There is a build going on with 16" ORi's on JKownerns right now as well

What made you choose not to weld to the center section?

On the artec full width trusses you physically can't weld it to the cast because it is gapped off the top of the pumpkin. Its that way so u can tilt the truss depending on your pinion angle.

Welding steel to the casting takes some specialized welding as well. You can't just MIG it as it will only crack along the weld. It can be done but not by the average hobby welder.
