Today we are happy to announce our new build partner HPS Performance Products! For our builds we'll both be running the HPS High Temp 3-ply Reinforced Silicone Radiator Hose Kit and JK Thang will be running the new HPS Cool Ram Air Intake Kit as well.

As you know our Wrangler JK's tend to run pretty hot so having the High Temp 3-ply Reinforced Silicone Radiator Hose Kit will help to keep the temperatures down and well they just look pretty sweet! One thing we realized with this build is having a Genesis Dual Battery, PSC Reservoir and air intake and in the same relative space was a chore so while at the Pomona Off Road Expo I had the chance to talk to good people over at HPS Performance Products and found out that they had recently come out with an intake for our Wrangler JK's. So after a little more discussion and I was convinced to give it a try. More performance feedback down road.

Built for performance and show, the HPS Cool Ram Air Intake Kit with Powder Coated Red finish for 2007-2011 Jeep Wrangler 3.8L V6 offers a free-flowing mandrel-bent aluminum tube induction system designed to deliver performance gains while maintaining safe air fuel ratio. HPS Short Ram Air Intake has been tested on a rear-wheel dynamometer and shown increase in horsepower and torque. Compare to the cold air intake, HPS Short Ram Air Intake is a convenient way to change your intake in case of rainy days where water might be inducted into your cold air system.

They come with an K&N High-Flow conical air filter designed to provide increased surface area and dust capacity. This extra surface area provides even more airflow at lower restriction than a standard replacement filter that is limited to the size of the factory air box. The oversize air filter also captures more dirt increasing the service life before a cleaning is required (up to 100,000 miles).

For JK Thang space in the engine bay is at a premium so the HPS intake system really did we'll to allow us to run our Genesis Dual Battery, PSC Resevior and air intake all play nicely together.

Kit comes complete with a small list of components and easy step through instructions.


A custom bracket to all the intake to work with the Sprintex and we're ready for a test spin!

Hey Frank, I run two of these Dynomax mufflers on Beast (dual-exhaust) and I've been very happy with them. The sound is also great; especially when you add a 6.1 Hemi.

We're extremely fortunate to have Primo Customs on board as our SEMA build paint partner. Between our Rugged Ridge vented hoods and half doors, JK Thang's extensive body armor, and a couple of Nemesis fenders in need of some TLC, we're really fortunate to have Rick Primeau, automotive painter and airbrush artist extraordinaire, take care of all of our painting needs.

Lots of parts headed to Primo Customs for paint. The half doors were getting some love, too, so we'd be driving home doorless:

Today we are happy to announce a new build partnership with Red Peak Off Road!

Both our rigs will be equiped with Red Peak Off Road RubiCAM's Rock Crawling camera to help spot us over obstacles both on and off road. Speaking from experience, carrying a large spare can imped your vision and lead to an accident (or in my case x2 ) while backing up so I'm pretty excited to be running the RubiCAM!

For those of you who like to capture your memories on video the RubiCAM DVR offers the ability to record your moments good and bad. And the great thing is you can start out with the non DVR system and easily upgrade to the DVR unit without having to redo everything. Simply add the DVR to the existing system and you're ready to go. We are hoping to show installation for the kit as well as some real life experiences further down the road.
