looks good man, i can't wait to start my swap

quick question though, will the oem disc brakes on the newer 14b work with the jk, or do you still have to redo the brakes on the rear?

thanks it was a fun swap. yes they will work but you have to clearance for the uca mounts you will see when you lay out the brackets before welding. you will also have to remove some of the left uca bracket to clear the gm ebake cable. 2 long gm ebrake cables are required and you will have to make a new adjuster at the e bake handle i drilled holes in some nuts ran the cable through it and tighten a bolt down on the cable.

well just a quick update 9k miles after the axle swap the jeep is still perfect. the wife is driving it 150 miles a day for her new job and she loves it.

we did take it snow wheeling back in dec, our last snow. broke through the berm and kept on going.

changed the wheels due to some bent ones now its on 16.5x7.75 .
got the tone rings for the front just haven't had time to install them. worked on a 2011 ford E350 that sportsman did a 4wd swap on using a ball joint d60 here are the pics of the tone ring and speed sensor.

and for the final news we have new fenders, rocker guards, rock sliders, stereo on the way so hopefully in a few weeks all the goodies will be on.

Ya the pressure bleeder made a major difference the pedal went from soft and almost to the floor on the first pump to 1/4 push and you have a firm pedal. And it took about 15 min to do

Well got some time to work on the jeep.
Installed Smittybilt xrc fenders and trimmed down the stock inner fender. they look good for the price but now i have to match the rear bumper to the fenders it sticks out to far.
also installed Poison Spider rocker armor and welded on some Trail Gear(Toyota) 67" sliders.
