rear back up lights does anyone know what diode goes in my new ones I am adding?

Which diodes do I need to add back up lights on my bumper? Thanks Rick
I have a 2013 wrangler unlimited rubicon

While researching your question, I discovered the 2013 wiring diagram shows a jumper going from the back-up lamp power feed to the inside rear view mirror.
Any idea what that's for?

The diode needs to be rated to handle the voltage and amperage of the lights.

I have two guesses.

1. Auto dim override when in reverse at night, or...

2. Future back up camera for fancy models.

Probably a back up camera. I think they use the rear view mirror to display the view of the back up camera.
