ON TOUR -- My Budget Tailgating/Beach Build
I go to a lot of concerts every year and since picking up my 2013 JK 2dr and trading in my F150 tailgating has become a little more difficult because of the lack of storage so I'm working on creative ways to pack and ensure that I have all the essentials on a budget.
Orange = Completed
Blue = In the Works/Ideas
Tuffy Security Enclosure - I've had enough beer and chairs taken out of the back of my F150 that I knew I had to keep it under wraps, whether the top/windows were on or not.
Custom Fold Down Molle Tailgate - Need a place to put those beers and food.
Molle bags - Good place, as many of you know for storage.
Mopar Off-Road Bumpers (Front & Rear)
Update the Speakers - Need to be able to hear those good tunes.
Trailer Hitch Grille
My Version of the Smittybilt Trail Shade - I think I can make my own and customize it so I can keep the Tailgate open and still have everything under cover.
I'll keep posting as they happen. If anyone has any other suggestions for tailgating in tight space please let me know.
If you want to see pics of anything specific that is already completed and that I have posted yet just ask.

Find the stock "Trail Rated" badge just in front of the driver's door and swap it out. stock look, will take a keen eye to see the difference.

If you want to keep the space down try something like this one, instead.

Ahh, I'm with you. The problem with those hitch tables is they don't put things much further away from the Jeep and your access to the tailgate is limited. I'm not sure I really see the point of them, if I'm honest. You'd probably be better off with just a standalone foldaway table?
