The "Warthog" build
Here lies the build of my Warthog, and if you are a gamer you know where that comes from. So I'll update this as I go with things I do, just as we all do. So sit back, grab a and enjoy.
Now this is where it all started when I had a bone stock base model 2dr, it was a 2011, I bought it new and didn't do anything to. I was able to fight off the urge to do stuff to it for 3 years....
then something happened...
I saw the Anvil JKU's rolling out and I had to have one, so I bit the bullet and traded up.
2014 JKU Anvil, Auto, some "creature features" and lot more pony with the new motor.
After driving it home that day in April, with 5 miles on it, I knew I was in love, this was it, this was my rig. I could longer hold off the urge, it needed a lift and tires, and the outdoors called me once again. So shortly after I got a Rubicon express Budget Boost.
And what's the point of having a lift without some meat under it...

I got by with this setup for about a year, I did some mirror little things, some accessories, small mods, painted the god awful pinch weld with bed liner spray.
Cleaned and painted up my old Hi-Lift and got a mount for it
These things like I said held me over for a year about, until I went to the Great American Jeep Rally and wanted a new front bumper. sadly thou I couldn't afford one at the time. But then while at a Gamestop for a midnight game launch (Destiny), some elderly women bumped my Jeep while it was parked and took out the left front fender flare and front bumper. Luckily that was all, she wanted to settle without insurance, I agreed, I took my Jeep to the body shop (where I work) got her and estimate for parts and labor, then she paid me that amount. I actually saved her money because I didn't charge her full amount for parts or fees the shop would have. However it worked for me because I had enough for a new front bumper, and a flare. All it really cost me was my time, which I was ok with.

Now onto the more current things. After the local "Go Topless Day" that me and my GF attended, I really wanted to go up to a 3.5 lift, she even agreed after seeing other jeeps with that size lift. So one could argue it was her fault, that I bought Clayton 3.5 springs, Bilstien shocks and the Clayton rear track bar bracket, and TeraFlex front sway bar disco's. She said it was not her fault but I still blamed her.

AND of coarse after I had to "check my clearance" at work. I had more room to flex but the shop manager got concerned about flipping it off the fork truck so he wouldn't go any higher.
Few details to mention thou, when I installed the new springs and such, I cycled the suspension with just the arms and drive shafts to measure for new bumpstops, ended up needing 1.5 in the front and the rear has a 2.5 which I can actually go down to a 1.5 later. I got new hose to make longer diff breathers and rerouted my rear e-brake cable below the frame in the rear instead of on top to allow for free travel. Removed the front metal brake hose bracket from the axle and cut it off the hose to have longer front brake hoses, then I wrapped the hose and ABS senor cable in rubber hose for protection from rubbing the shock. In the rear I got Synergy brake line brackets. I will upgrade to longer steel braided hoses later, first thing I need is a new front drive shaft. I made sure everything was tight, torqued and Aligned her myself before driving home. I was pumped.

@PapaGing
its a pretty awesome bumper, to give a visual on the "modular" part of the bumper, here is mine without the wings. I have recently installed the bull bar though no pics yet.
on page 2 of my build are detailed pics of the bumper as well.
