Upgrade the all the steering links, tie rod, drag link, and track bars and Ripp it. That should take care of the $5k

Could this mean this is just the beginning of a build thread.. maybe.. Right now at least, we're going to start searching for parts and work from the ground up. Tires, wheels and suspension.. would be top priority. then mechanical as well as electrical upgrades. Let's see what we can do to an 08 jeep wrangler X 2 door.
You are so full of shit you go on every jeep forum and just spew nonsense.

It all depends on what your starting point is. It also depends on whether or not labor has to be included in the price, and whether this a show or a go vehicle. I know what I would do if it was me, but you might have a different vision, or lack of vision. Finally, it always cracks me up when people need to know what to do to their jeeps. Just decide what you want to do and do it.

Welp.. guess what we did..

2008 Jeep Wrangler X For Sale in Baltimore, MD 21207 - 8L644873

Our jeep is at Autonation Chevy Securty and they want 18K plus for it.. But it need about 5K-8K work done to it.. just be prepared if you walk in thinking you're getting a great deal.. you're not.. though they did give us 14k for that jeep on the assumption we would buy something from them..

My advice.. spread the word.. and tell every jeep wrangler owner or those to be, to avoid this dealership.. they will attempt to steal you blind these are some shady people.. They are so ashamed at making this deal, they aren't even willing to put the picture online for all to see.. besides.. they list the jeep as a rubicon (image) which it isn't and they said "one owner" which again it isn't.. They only good thing they did to it.. was put new brake pads and did an oil change..

Here is amore of a detailed description of our jeep..

No carpeting
No back seat
the front seats are torn
the shifter flops out of 1st and 2nd gear
It has the hard doors with torn runner seals
the soft doors in the back
6K miles on the skyjacker shocks
transmission has a leak..
the front control arms have the grade 8 bolts
new steering stabilizer
Small crack on the windshield
full bra on the front grille the hood part in the back
Bestop bikini, wraparound windjammer, duster
Home made security shell under the duster cover
The frame is showing signs of rust
Cut off Husky Liners mud guards
and yes.. it has the death wobble..

AVOID All Autonation Dealerships.. and avoid the purchase of this jeep.. or be prepared to buy it for an outrageous price.. the jeep isn't worth 18K.

Good Luck with your purchase..

so, if you sold the rig, you didn't accept the challenge to spend the $5k?
