Default Zach's build form 2010 to now

Hey guys,

I got my Jeep out of necessity back in 2010 when my 98 Exploder's engine locked up on me. Living in Maryland, where we get varying levels of snow, I wanted something that had 4 wheel drive and what I really wanted was an F250 but there was no way a 19 year old kid could afford that. So it turned out that the only new vehicle that had 4wd that I could afford was my 2010 Jeep Wrangler Sport 2 door. And damn am I happy that was all I could afford at the time. Little did I know just how much this thing would end up costing me in the long run.
My Jeep has taken me on many trips to places that I never thought I would see and allowed me to meet people I never thought I would know. From Rausch Creek, to the beaches Outer Banks, to the mountains of western Maryland, and next years big trip to Windrock Tennessee, and 2018's desination of MOAB Utah!!!

Here is my Jeep in it's current state.

So backing up, here we are in 2011 with the very first mod I did, an AEV 2.5" suspension lift.

Yes, it did look a little bit silly but I loved it all the same.

I ran that way for about a year until I could finally afford a set of 35" Nitto Trail Grapphers.

Not more than a year after I got the 35's my tail gate started rattling. This was no big deal as I could just adjust the tailgate stop and it would quiet up for awhile but I eventually got sick of doing it so a bumper/spare tire carrier was on order. After very little searching (because I knew what I wanted) I decided on the LOD Signature Series Shorty Rear Bumper/Tire Carrier.

About 6 months later my wife wanted to have a biggest loser competition against me. If she won I would owe her 5 hours of tattoo time and if I won she would buy me a front bumper. Well guess who won.......thats right, this fat ass! So we placed the order for the LOD Signature Series Front Shorty Bumper With a Stinger.

A few months later I got a Quadratec winch but that isn't really exciting to look at so I never really took many pictures of it. About the same time I bent the hell out of my tie rod so I picked up a Carolina Metal Masters tie rod replace it.

At some point in the middle of all of this I came across a set of 2 month old Truck Lites for a good price and picked those up. Also around the same time I picked up an ARB High Output Compressor, Dynomax Rock Crawler Exhaust, and a 6 switch SPOD

Thats all I have time for now. Later I'll talk about upgrading my lift.

The next step for my Jeep was updating the lift kit to keep up with my growing "ballsyness" so I decided I wanted to up it to Evo 3" coils and work with that.

Luck hit me on Black Friday of last year when I came across this set of Fox shocks for 15% off!!!

Bought my new coils a couple days later and ended up with this. I also got lower front and rear Rock Krawler Control Arms and a set of Synergy Rear Uppers at some point too.

After that it was nothing too stupid exciting, just a new transfer case cable, a Trektop NX to replace my stock soft top, and a new set of tires. I decided to get the Cooper STT Pros and I am loving them so far. As for the Trektop...........Jeeps should just come with this top from the factory. I love it!

My mods slowed down a bit since that point........UNTIL NOW!!! I have a Prorock 44 on order along with ARB lockers front/rear, 5.13's, and Ten Factory Shafts front/rear!!!!
