How to determine bent tube vs bent C?

No, I haven't. I just looked at it and saw that things have definitely changed. The fronts used to look about square to the rears, they do not any longer.

There are two photos looking up at the long tube at the pumpkin in the first post off this thread, there is nothing to visually indicate deformation. Same with the C's, no visual indicators of deformed material. But standing 20 feet in front of the Jeep makes you stop and say.... huh.... shit be bent!
