Great reading...thanks for sharing it with all of us! Every group I have been a part of has been nothing but helpful and wanted to have a good experience keeping everyone safe at the same time.

Great post. This post applies to wheelers of all skill levels, not just the Noobs.

I have a stock X. When I went to Moab for Easter Jeep Safari I was afraid I was going to be shunned by all the lifted Rubicons and left alone on the trails.

How wrong I was! Not once did anyone make me feel less, and a couple of fellow Utah members even took me along to Fins n Things. Gave me a ton of advice.

The one thing I don't like about internet forums is how badly noobs are treated, like some guys were born with skills and knowledge.

I've yet to get that from this site. I appreciate all of you guys and all the help I've gotten.

I too am very noobie. Also am very afraid (shy) to meet other jeepers and show them that my mods have far surpassed my offroad skills. I only take my lady on fire roads and picnics in the forest. I have not crawled in any rocks.
This thread has given me courage to actually sign up for a run. I should read this everyday.
